School Fee payment solution
July 18, 2022As a professional working 9 to 5 in an office provide us little or no freedom while doing daily routine personal life tasks such as utility bill payments, fee my kid school fee etc. The work life & personal life balance demands such flexibility which is impossible to maintain most of the times. I work in financial institution where reaching office before 9 am is absolute need & there is no fix hours to leave office. Performing daily home duties is almost not possible & they are indeed necessary as well. Every month i had to skip lunch twice to take out time to submit school fee of my kid in nearest school branch standing in long que’s which is 40 mins away from my office and of course utility bills as well. Carrying cash for these purposes is a hassle too but really we never had the luxury to skip this routine twice in a month.
Recently i noticed that there is a ‘kuickpay id’ on the voucher of my kid school. I didn’t focus on the matter first but then i noticed that there is an email/sms notification from kuickpay in my inbox. I opened the email and it had a step by step guide of how to pay school fee sitting on my desk. Kuickpay is Pakistan’s leading bill payment service connected with all banks & guess what? Our school has opted for this digital payment solution to facilitate their customers. After reading the step by step guide, i logged on to my mobile banking app (meezan bank) and followed the instructions provided on the email as well as the fee voucher. I clicked bill payments on meezan bank’s mobile banking app, select kuickpay, entered kuickpay id, it fetched the school fee amount from the school server, i clicked paid & its done.
School fee was paid with in seconds from my fingertips. I got payment confirmation sms/email from bank & kuickpay with in minutes. Its been 6 months now since i am using this service & absolute loving it. Wish they introduce similar service for other utilities such as ISP, real estate or electric payments. It will save our time & petrol in these current tight economic situation.
